Grashopper just passed his second degree blue belt test.  I didn't know if he was going to finish his minute of push-ups.  That's pretty demanding for an eight-year-old.  But he did it.  He had to re-do his form several times due to rushing through it and making minor errors.  His kicks were brilliant, as usual.

He and his friend, Wolf, are now both second degree blue belts.  Wolf passed his a couple weeks ago while we were out of town.

Grasshopper and Wolf will both be testing for third degree blue in a month.  Adventure Boy will be testing for Purple (he is in the adult ranks now..so no degrees.)

In our school, each adult rank is divided into thirds for the kids.  So, the third degree rank of any color is the equivilant of the adult rank.
