Pcomeau put this video on my Facebook:

It lead me to This Link.

Sometimes the stupid burns.  Sometimes the stupid clings and burns. Like Napalm. Von Mesis Institute: napalm for the brain.

And no, it's not an Onion article. They actually argue that a decentralized society ruled by a patchwork of autocratic theocrats and warlords who commit genital mutilation of little girls, honor killings against women, and allows famine, pandemic, mass killings, gun-point conversions, and a growing pirate trade is preferable to a stable centralized government that brings you fluoridated water, and a public health system.

Several months ago over at Pharyngula, I and several others people raised the ire of a couple of libertarians by pointing to Somalia as an example of the logical consequences of liberatrianism. They hotly denied the claim and dismissed Somalia as merely a failed state that had no relevance to or implications for their beliefs.

And now, we see them proudly claiming it. Called it!

I remember when the Somali pirates were shot, a FOX news commentator said she didn't want to call Somalia a "failed state". Now we know why.
