And whoever is posting as "April Gaede" wouldn't know neo-nazi-demeaning sarcasm if it goosetepped back and forth in front of her wearing a clown hat and Hitler moustache.

Hate to think what homeschooling from her has done for her children's literary sense.

"April Gaede", I'm not traumatized, I think you're a joke.

Hence the laughing.

This, from the Prussion Blue site, "Recently they received international media attention because Prussian Blue is a White Pride band. The songs they the girls sing reflect their White Nationalist beliefs. Today, if you are White ,and proud to be White , it is considered Politically Incorrect by the media. The music that Prussian Blue performs is intended for White people. They hope to help fellow Whites come to understand that love for one’s race is a beautiful gift that we should celebrate."

When I first read it, it made me feel uncomfortable. Then I thought, why? Why would this make me feel uncomfortable when, if you interchange the word "White" with "Black," it doesn't seem so bad. Jeez! There is something wrong with me!

In doing a quick perusal of their other sites and their blogs, I didn't see anything that struck me as outlandish at all. They are anti-immigration, anti-New World Order, and believe in freedom. Seems like a good group of kids trying to find their way in the world - and doing a pretty good job of it.

Racial pride - if it's ok for Blacks and Latinos (and Chinese and Japanese and...), then why isn't it ok for Whites?

Did you miss the tribute to Rudolph Hess?

I think you also missed their close, personal pen-pal/fan-girl relationship with David Lane.

Or that their grandfather uses the swastika as his registered cattle brand?

But then again, maybe you see why I have a difficult time seeing an operational difference between White Supremicists, Libertarians and Christian Reconstructionsists, though the ideologies merely have area of extreme over-lap and clearly don't share ALL traits in common.

To be sure, if they all had there way, there would come a time when they parted ways, but it would be long after it was too late for me and mine.

Teresa, I did a little more digging - it didn't take much.

Link to Hess verified. Link to Lane verified (he's dead now - good ridance). Cattle brand verfified.

Oh - BTW - I don't know if this is true or not but I found this tidbit: "Prussian Blue [is] named after the chemical residue from Holocaust gas chambers..."

umm - yeah.

Thanks for references. I officially retract anything good that might have been taken from my original comment!

Mark,

"I officially retract anything good that might have been taken from my original comment! "

I've come to expect nothing less from you when you find information that contradicts your original conclusions.

Them evil-types can be so sneakily reasonable sounding, can't they?

The Prussin Blue color tidbit you quoted is a little off. They named themselves "Prussian Blue" after the color that they claim is *missing* from the Holocaust gas chambers. A color that they claim would be present if the gas chambers were actually used.

In otherwords, Holocaust deniers. I don't know if you realize this, but some people think that they Holocaust is a conspiracy theory invented by liberals to get white people to hate themselves and Western Culture.

The rabbit-hole just goes deeper and deeper, although Ben (eclecticsanonymous.com) recently uncovered a documentary that implies that Lynx and Lamb have begun questioning their neo-nazi indoctrination.

Here's hopin'!

Mark,

In case you missed it (and I suspect you did, since this seems to be the first you've heard of Prussian Blue, and I've mentioned them a few times)

Here's my thoughts on "racial pride".

Mark,

Just a question, but when you say "New World Order", you aren't making a serious referance to the conspiracy theory that a secret cabal of Jews (headed by the anti-Christ) are trying to take control of the world through the UN, are you?

'cause I didn't really have you sorted that way, but the whole New World Order referance is kind of...uh...strange.

On the origins of "Prussian blue":

"Prussian blue (German: Preußischblau or Berliner Blau, in English Berlin blue) is a dark blue pigment used in paints and formerly in blueprints. Prussian blue was discovered by accident[1] by painter Heinrich Diesbach in Berlin in 1704-5, which is why it is also known as Berlin blue. (Diesbach was attempting to create a paint with a red hue.) It has several different chemical names, these being iron(III) ferrocyanide, ferric ferrocyanide, iron(III) hexacyanoferrate(II), and ferric hexacyanoferrate. Commonly and conveniently it is simply called "PB."[2]"

The city of Berlin, where Prussian blue was discovered, was the last capital of what was Prussia at that time.

Oh yeah...and that cyanide test thing...

"The formation of Prussian blue can be used as a test for inorganic cyanide, for instance in the sodium fusion test.

Iron(II) sulfate is added to a solution suspected of containing cyanide, such as the filtrate from the sodium fusion test. The reslting mixture is heated for a few minutes, cooled, and acidified with mineral acid.

The formation of Prussian blue is a positive result for cyanide."
