Discalimer:  This entry will make no sense unless you are a fan of Torchwood, and up-to-date on the Dr. Who universe.  The video will only be funny if you have a warped sense of humor...and even then, you will feel guilty for laughing.  Sorry.  I can't be alone in my Schadenfreude.  The Scott Lively connection is just one of those random association firings that my brain subjects me too...but if you can't mock the Rev. Scott Lively, who CAN you mock?

OK, a while ago I heard about the Rev. Scott Lively, and his book The Pink Swastika and I thought "Who the hell would buy this?  It's ridiculous.  It's completely craven, ahistorical re-imagining at it's most cynically manipulative.  I've seen sand-choked engines run more smoothly than this guy's logic."

But then I see this, and I realize the horrible truth!

NSFW  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!   (seriously, the ways in which this is not safe for work defy numbering gravity description)

Also, my understanding of the German langauge is even worse than I thought!

Mine too!

But as much as I loath have to admit that the show could use a little more Jack/Ianto action.

And I wouldn't turn off the TV if there were a little more James Marsters action of any kind. :-)

Heh, heh, heh.... :-)

Sorry, Geek Goddess was indisposed with work stuff. I missed my cue.

Hate to say it, but I have to agree with Adolf on this one!

As the resident German expert, I can assure you all that the subtitles provide only a very loose translation of Hitler's speech. However, such is the nature of subtitles...

(If anyone is curious, he's actually spouting off about how the German people are unworthy of him and cowards. This is the point in the movie "Downfall" where Hitler acknowledges that the war is lost.)

I didn't really warm to Tosh until the last few episodes - rather like Enterprise... They did misuse Martha, but I love Freema, so I'd be happy to have her as a regular, or at least a regular guest from UNIT.

Owen. Eh. He needed to have his hero exit, and he got it. At least I hope he got it. I don't want him to come back having survived the radiation etc. While he'd be totally screwed up, I'm not sure I'm a fan of a zombie as a main cast member.

And Gwen - dump her. All Janto all the time! Snogging frequencies open!
