Grasshopper is a dynamo.  Only nine years old, and this has been his day:

7:00AM up and bathed, dressed, breakfasted and ready for anything.  He practices his cello for twenty minutes, and then studies his math facts for ten while he awaits his ride.

8:30 – 12:00 Noon – fencing class with his friend, S-dog (yes, a nine-year-old boy asked to be called S-dog on my blog).  I pick them up.  They are red-faced and drenched in sweat.

Noon to 5:00 – lunch and playing outside with S-dog with one ½ hour break for video games and another 20 minute break to watch an episode of M*A*S*H.

We have dinner, and it’s off on our bikes to ride the mile-and-a-half to Kung Fu.  One hour of intense Kung Fu training (small class today, everyone got a LOT of individual attention)

Then to S-dog’s house to play some more while I have my class, and the return trip of about a 1 and ½ mile bike ride home again.

Now its 10 O’clock, and he’s not a bit tired.  He's going to have to read for a while to wind down.  Oh, to have that much energy.

ditto! Though I must say, I'm feeling pretty good after my bike ride. I let the ferrets out to play...they just lied down again. Go figure.

Where did you find a fencing class that goes from 9am until noon! MonkeyBoy (although I'll have to find a new name for HIM soon) has been wanting to. All they have is a crappy 1 hour, once a week group class through the community center here.

Look under "Summer Camps".

There is a class for teen beginners coming up in July. Let me know if you decide to do it. I've been trying to get Adventure Boy to sign up, and it might help if he has a friend involved as well.

He does sound like he has a lot of energy.

But who was up before him, making sure he'd be ready?

Who was up after him, getting stuff done?

You've got just as much energy...just not as high a vibratory rate.
