Folding, spindeling, and mutilating lauguage for fun since Aug, 2004

Paula over at Ordinary Time sent me a link to this blog.

I like it a lot.  I think I'll be adding it to my blog roll soon.  I think you will all like it too.

She has a lot of smart and witty things to say, and many of them are undeniably true.  For instance, I can say with certainty, that this really is what friends are for. (fun little gem from the archives).

Haven't you ever heard of the verb Dooced? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dooced) She was one of the first people to get fired for having a blog.

Of course things took a turn for the better, she got married and turned into - well - I'll let her tell you...

"I am a Stay at Home Mom (SAHM) or a Shit Ass Ho Motherfucker. I do both equally well."

Perhaps that's why you like the blog; both of you have something in common.

Ben,

When I read the SAHM line in her bio, I almost shot coffee out my nose. I was like "Hey! You can't say that! I should have said that!" Sisters seperated at birth, I tell ya.

I actually came to blogging quite late in the phenomenon...(cue a few minutes of the muppet thing running through my head now...that's just great, and before my morning coffee, too.)

Anyway, I wasted a few years in the mail-discussion-list-drama-wasteland. I actually discovered blogs when Karen (the ferret parent) invited me to join MySpace so we could keep in contact while she was in Germany.

Then Rocky said "If you want a blog, I'll get you a real blog." And Lo, my life took a turn for the better.

You know, I could blog about my time in MDLDWl...that could be funny.

Yes, yes, I was there, back in the beginning... *takes a bow*

Yeah...I guess I really can't take that much credit for that.

Anyway, Trees, this little post could be interpreted as a cry for help...if you need it, I can drag you to the adult toy store the next time that I'm in town ;)

(Well, not the next time; I won't have time to do much of anything other than the Renaissance Festival, but the time after that...)

Of course, you'd need to tell me where said shops are at...

Thanks, I'm married to a genius who also happens to be a Tutonic hunk. :-)

But I appreciate you looking out for me, though.
