Here is the information for that Ethiopean place i told you about:

Fasika

501 N Snelling Ave St. Paul, MN 55104

(651) 646-4747

www.fasika.com

We just went there and had the "Ultimate Platter"  the "yum" was brought.

Might I also add: $36 for dinner and beverages for a family of four not-so-small people?  And we were positivly stuffed.  They're kind of skimpy on the Injara, so we had to ask for more.  They were cheerful about bringing more.  I think they just don't want to end up throwing it away, and who can blame them, given the reasons they had to move here?

I know this is totally off topic, but based on your comments over on my blog I had a question for you. Might you be interested in starting up an on-line invite only writers' group? That takes care of the scheduling problem, since anyone can post anytime. Yeah, you lose some of the face-to-face intimacy, but it is definitely better than nothing.

Thanks from me too! As wife of Pcomeau, I stand to benefit from this info if we can get a babysitter. :D (And interestingly enough, we're having Ethiopian food tonight as I stopped by the Seward Co-op and brought some home. Three dishes and injera to go with them.)

I didn't know when I emailed you that you had just been out for Ethiopian, was just following up on the suggestion made at the reunion!

We were just in that neighborhood more/less this week to have dinner out for our anniversary. Have you ever been to the Khyber Pass Cafe? We drove by it after dinner and I remembered having eaten there many, many moons ago.

Brenda,

No matter, we could eat Eatheopian food once a week for a long time before we got tired of it. Our appointment is still on!

Never been to the Kyber Pass Cafe. Sounds good.
