Minnesota's "Skipper" to  Alaska's "Caribou Barbie"...

...NOW  She walks, she talks, take a listen to some of the things she says:

Shorter Michele Bachmann: "Obama is a terrorist":

"But I'd totally kiss him":

Bachmann said her positions have been "quite different" from Bush's."

"If the presidency would somehow go to Barack Obama, I would welcome him to the 6th District as well," she said after the debate. "As a matter of fact, I would put my hand on his shoulder and give him a kiss if he wanted to."

I guess she's happy to kiss a "terrorist", as long as it isn't another chick.

And then there's the whole "if only there were some investigation into the government, searching for un-American actions on the part of government officials...if only there were SOME WAY to you, know, investigate them....the press isn't doing it...wink wink...nudge nudge...hedge hedge".  She doesn't have the guts to actually call for another HUAC, but she'll set the ball for someone else.

The whole time I was watching that video I expected it was building to a single sentence:  "Why nationalize Industry when you can nationalize The People?"

Umm...if most Americans think that America is perfect, then they aren't paying attention. On the other hand, America is also not the worst country on Earth. It's better than some and worse than others, and probably about the same as most. *shrugs*

Karen,

With thinking like that, it's a darned good thing you are not a parent. Don't you know that if you don't think something is perfect, you hate it? I bet if you had kids you would criticize them for doing things that you thought were wrong, and try to correct them, instead of loving them.

I'd have to say that I know a lot of crazy leftists - the super liberals. I wouldn't say that they detest America. But they would certainly like to their country improved. Isn't it responsible to notice problems and try to fix them? How does it help this country if we all just stick our heads in the sand?

I just think that its hilarious that Michele "friend of Frank Vennes" Bachmann is out there crowing about how you can judge someone by their associations. Last I heard, Obama didn't try to arrange a Presidential pardon for Ayres. Bachmann would really do well to slow down and think about this.

Also, I heard that this little performance brought in over 80 grand in donations for her Democratic opponant from around the country (not sure if it is true).

I see that Bachmann's church has fallen on some hard times...the pastor has to sell his private jet.

Maybe Bachmann can get her good-buddy-good-pal Palin to help him? She's got experience selling jets...at a loss.

Man, you guys are rough!

Hey Teresa, when you said "I bet if you had kids you would criticize them for doing things that you thought were wrong, and try to correct them, instead of loving them." - did you mean that you don't try to correct your kids?? Is it impossible to love them and correct them at the same time?

Work calls - Have a nice day...

Mark,

"did you mean that you don't try to correct your kids?? Is it impossible to love them and correct them at the same time?"

Sorry, Mark, the sarcasm fairy hit again:

See, I was sarcastically lampooning the conservative position that any criticism of American policy, historically or in the present, is "Anti-American", and shows "hatred" of America. While you may love your kids, it is still possible to criticize them and try to correct them without it being hateful....the same goes for your country. In fact, if you believe either your children or your country to be headed down a ruinous path, it would be hateful to NOT try to correct and criticize them.

I didn't mark it as sarcasm, because I thought it was kind of obvious...but it proabably only was to people more familiar with my style. Sorry.
