Well, sometimes...

Comments:

1) If you could get a crowd that size together in one place in Bemidji, that's what they would look like.

2) If you could get Northwoods Norwegians to dance...that's what it would look like.

3) Rural Ojibwe, rural Norwegians and rural Swedes and rural Germans are not really that big with the running and screaming.  They are most likely to give a put-upon-sounding "yup" or "oofda" that sounds sort of like a sigh...and then blow your head off.

4)If there were a place where werewolves ran around in bright sunlight, it would be Bemidji.

And for my BSU contemporaries, you may remember Roy Booth from D&D, theater, or other activities. He's how I found out about the video in the first place as he and his son are in it. You can pick them out with the info he sent me:

"Riordan has a red hat and a jacket with yellow strips on the arms. I'm the big one in the green/cream hat, red shirt/scarf, tan pants, and big, blue jacket. Or, the second 'wolf to get kicked in the nads during the rail scene. (Riordan is the kid civilian screaming by, too.)

Most of the growling they used throughout is apparently me, also.

Talk about a unique father/son experience!"

Ah yes Bemidji as I remember it...

That's pretty good! I'm impressed!

I never did understand the practice of having video that is completely unrelated to the song lyrics, though. *shrugs*

Karen,

How can you say that? It's quite obviously a tender love song for the man she is completely devoted to.

She wakes up, finds him gone, follows his paw prints, and finds him in time to stand by his side (like a devoted lover) as he's executed. Luckily, the woman in love with her base guitarist (the guy in the fetching snow-cat suit)comes to their rescue and love (blind, devoted love) conqueres all!
