Finally! An on-line translation program that’s actually useful!

I typed this in English:

No, I didn't do my home work. I'm going out. Just out. No, I'm not going to Jeremy's house to play video games. I'm just going to hang out. Seriously, mom, you need to stop reading all those parenting books. It's driving you nuts.

And the program translated it to the language of 12-year-old- AOLers. It came out as such:

NO I DIDNT DO MAH HOM3 WORK!1!1!!1 OMG IMM GONG OUT!1!!1!1 OMG JUST OUT!!111!!!! WTF NO IMM NOT GONG 2 JER3MYS HOUES 2 PLAY VIEDO GM3S!111! OMG WTF IMM JUST GONG 2 HANG OUT!!1!!1! WTF SERIOSLEY MOM U NED 2 S2P READNG AL THOSE PAERNTNG BOKS!!!!!1111 OMG WTF ITS DRIVNG U NUTS!!!1111! OMG WTF

It's true, they get a little tired of my relentless pursuit of a clear picture of their school situation.

Luckily, the school provides a website where I can check the status of their work in all their classes, any time of the day or night. If they are missing homework, I know about it.

I imagine that it more than a little annoying to them.
